1)Description:
In the picture there is only a hand. It's bending with the form of the head of a bird, and also it's painted with colours (white, yellow, brown and black).
The fingers (yellow part) are the beak of the bird, the wrist (black part) is the neck and the rest of the hand (white part), where it's painted a yellow eye, is the head of the animal.
2) Analyse of the advert
-WHO is the ad aimed at?
It's aimed to adults persons and people who are interested in the nature.
-WHAT is being advertising and WHAT is specifically highlighted about the product (the benefits) in this ad?
It's advertising an ecologist organization interested in the nature called WWF. It isn't advertising any product, it's only to inspire people join and collaborate with the WWF organization, with it's interested in the nature.
-Technical effects
The hand is painted with the same colours than the real eagle. Thanks to the relief of the hand and the light in places where there are shadows, it seems that the eagle is true, it seems that isn't a hand. You only know that it's a hand because of the fingernail of the thumb.
-Lines of appeal or "Attention-getting hooks"
The line of appeal is the natural world.
The attention-getting hook that it uses is the emotional transfers. With the symbol of the bird in a human hand, WWF, means to the people that go to the nature to hunt animals, that there are some animals like this eagle, are in extinction and we must care them.
-Language and Slogan
The ad haven't language because there isn't a spot, however it's got a slogan. It is "Give a hand to the wild life" and it's written in black letters in a corner of the photo. It's small because WWF thinks that the most important thing is the impression of the photo, and the feelings that it could produces. With the slogan, WWF invites everybody to help the nature and the species in extinction or at least that they respect them.
-Stereotypes.
The ad don't use a human stereotypes. However it uses an animal stereotype. In the advert is represented an endangered species, an eagle.
