In Raleigh international there are different places to go like Borneo, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, India y Tanzania. The most interesting place is Costa Rica because you can do a lot of things like bring water to people that need it, built 5 pre-schools and 14 primjary schools, constructed 26 community centres in the Miraflor-Moropotente Nature Reserve, improved 31 different national parks and protected areas, developed the infrastructure of La Cangreja National Park over 13 different expeditions, helped conserve endangered turtles by working in partnership with the Wildlife Refuges at Playa Hermosa and Camaronal, etc We like to go there because we like being in contact wih the nature and we can help other people. Another place we want to go is India because also there are a lot of activities relacionated with people and the nature.

We would like to work in Borneo like volunteer because also is a beautiful place and Sabah has the highest rate of poverty throughout Malaysia and Borneo rainforests are the oldest in the world and home to some of the rarest and most diverse ranges of species.
There for example, we could work in the built of kindergartens and eco-sanitation unit or began a new biodiversity research project to survey an area of secondary rainforest,etc.
Raleigh International is a association that organize expeditions in places like Borneo, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Tanzania and India. The trips are for individual or groups of people between 17 and 75 years old. When they arrive to the place, which they have choosen, they have to work as volunteer.
In the web page you can find all the information about the association, the experiences of some volunteers, and also if you want to participate you can connect with them.
We would like to go to India, because we think is an exotic place. We can learn a lot of thing of the region. There, we would like to work like cook and prepare food for children in schools, hospitals... We think that work as volunteer is a gratifying experience. And the best will be share our culture with other people.
Raleigh international is a youth and sustainable development charity . They run volunteering programmes overseas for people from a wide range of backgrounds nationalities and life stages. If I were to Raleigh International I will go to India , there Raleigh focuses its development efforts in Karnataka , Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra where they don't have appropiate housing , sanitation or access to education. An estimated 72% of Indians lack access to sanitation facilities and due to habitat destruction , fragmentation of migration corridors and poaching , the tiger and Asian elephant are coming close to extinction.
